Meet Dr. Sadaf Balouch
Growing up in a small village in a third world country, I could not have imagined that life will bring me the privilege to help others. From a school that had no roof, to the amazing university campuses at U of Waterloo and U of Toronto, I learned that universe allows for change. My team and I are ready to get you where you want to be in life, we promise that after meeting us, your feet will never hold you back!After completing my university, I decided to pursue further education and training in Podiatric Medicine. I have worked in various different settings including community care, private practices, hospital and nursing homes. My special interests include human anatomy, biomechanical issues such as flat feet, pediatrics, and congenital foot conditions.
My career is my calling and I am constantly trying to improve my clinical knowledge and skills. For Saskatoon and area, our clinic is the only facility offering all advanced treatments and modern equipment to treat foot and ankle ailments.
About Our Clinic
Active Podiatry & Orthotics opened its doors to serve the Saskatoon and area community in January of 2019. After having established a successful podiatry clinic in Ontario, Dr. Balouch chose Saskatoon as her new home, and decided to open a new clinic where she could continue doing what she was passionate about - helping others who were experiencing foot pain.
Since opening its doors, Active Podiatry & Orthotics has served Saskatoon and surrounding regions, offering Cold Laser, Shockwave, Fungal Laser, and SWIFT-Microwave Therapy. We specialize in the treatment of heel pain, sports injuries, plantar fasciitis, morton's neuroma, metatarsalgia, and bursitis. Routine care options which we provide include nailcare, callus, wart ,and corn removal. Active Podiatry & Orthotics also offers compression stocking prescriptions (upon approval of a family physician), and custom foot orthotics.
Dr. Balouch is constantly working to expand Active Podiatry & Orthotics' services, and is always looking to bring in the most advanced treatments to offer her patients the highest level of care.
Meet Patricia
Patricia is one of our clinic assistants at Active Podiatry & Orthotics, being one of the first friendly faces our patients see before their appointment with Dr. Balouch. She helps keep our clinic running smoothly by getting patients checked in, doing phone call follow ups, and assisting with treatment room sanitization.
Meet Mirna
Mirna is one of our amazing clinical assistants, as well as our treatment technician. She provides our patients with above and beyond care by assisting with performing their shockwave, laser, and fungal laser treatments. When she is not performing treatments, she helps by performing follow up care calls.
